Typically, coils are marked on the fly, which makes marking more challenging when dealing with stationary marking. The line speed could be anything between 1 m and 100 m per minute. Marking of sheets could be done on the fly or stationary. Which method to use depends on the application. If codes are marked, then a slow speed or stationary marking is preferred in order to ensure good quality laser markings.
